Jacinta is a renowned Irish and international award winning artist, specializing in animal portraiture, landscape and equestrian sporting paintings.

She regularly conducts popular masterclasses in garden painting at Altamont. In this demo, Jacinta will, step by step take you through her process of painting a unique pet portrait from start to finish. She will show how to capture pet expressions, to paint texture and explore suitable backgrounds for your paintings. This demo is perfect for beginners , artists who want to improve skills, pet owners and anyone who is curious to see how a painting develops from sketch to finished portrait.

Jacinta is artist in residence at Altamont and has an ongoing exhibition of her evocative rural paintings in the Corona North Room at Altamont throughout.
